1)First we need to start off with a 400px X 150px blank image 2)Now we need to use some brushes with the color black. 3)Now we want to create a new layer and brush it with some other brushes (can be the same ones), but with white: It is very important you set this layer to OVERLAY. 5)Now we are going to add a render. Place it where ever you want and switch the layer to luminosity. 6)Now we are going to add some text. Here are the blending options you should set on the text layer: Font colour: White Drop Shadow: Default Settings but distance at 2 pixels Inner Shadow: Default Settings but distance at 4 pixels Outer Glow: Default Bevel and Emboss: Default but Size at 0 pixels Satin: Default Stroke: Default but with 1 pixel size and black colour. 7)Now we are going to do some colour balance to give it some colour to stand out. Go to Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Colour Balance and do these settings: Midtones: +40, 0, -30 Shadows: +40, 0, -30 Highlights: +40, 0, -30 8)Now go to Filter > Render > Clouds you should have something like this: 9)Repeat step 7-8 but with these settings: Midtones: -20, +30, 0 Shadows: -20, +30, 0 Highlights: -20, +30, 0 10)Repeat step 7-8 again but with these settings: Midtones: 0, -20, +20 Shadows: 0, -20, +20 Highlights: 0, -20, +20 11)Should have something like this once your done with steps 9-10: 12) Add a border, you can follow my border tutorial here : accessonline.proboards85.com/index.cgi?board=tutorials&action=display&thread=113728732413) Here is the result :
